Congratulations, you've
reached the end of the course. You've had a taste of what Microsoft Power Platform has to offer and had a chance to get hands-on with some of the features and
functionality available to you so that you can start solving some of those
business challenges. In this module, you will
get a chance to put your new knowledge and skills to the test in a practice exam. But don't worry, not until
you've had a chance to remind yourself of the key topics
covered throughout the course. All of this will prepare
you to schedule, take, and successfully pass
the exam PL 900, Microsoft Certified Power
Platform Fundamentals. In this module,
you will recap on the content covered in the previous modules
in this course. Take a practice exam. I'm prepared to take the
certification exam PL 900. Now, let's take a look at the
key topics and objectives. First, you had an
introduction to all the components that make
up Microsoft Power Platform. Microsoft Power Apps,
Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft
Power Virtual Agents, and learned that
Microsoft Dataverse is the common currency that enables the components of Microsoft Power Platform
to work together. You saw how Microsoft
Power Platform enables you to craft
solutions that empower you to drive your business
with data and discovered that the Power Platform suite of apps can help you build apps, develop automation workflows, visualized data, and
create chatbots. You are now able to describe the various cutting
edge components and features such as AI Builders, Microsoft Dataverse, and
connectors that enable Microsoft Power Platform to be leveraged to its full potential. Importantly, you learned that connecting to data
sources allows you to integrate disparate parts of your business solutions to
build them out cohesively. That this connection
between data source and Microsoft Power
Platform speeds up the delivery of
business solutions and ensures a robust level
of security built-in. You explored and defined the basic concepts of
the Microsoft Dataverse. You also identify the ways
you can connect and customize data connections to Microsoft Power
Platform applications. One of the key concepts
is how Dataverse connects easily to all the aspects of the Microsoft Power Platform, which means that you
can fully control, automate, and strengthen
your business. Next, you learned
how to recognize the value and many
capabilities of Power Apps, such as that it is a no-code or low
code platform that builds off concepts like
formulas in an Excel workbook, such as sum and text, and took a deeper dive
into the three types of apps that you can build
using Power Apps, each suited to different
scenarios and end-users. You looked at how
Power Apps can be used to solve business problems, such as will elite
become a customer, will a project be profitable, will a customer churn or stop doing business with
you based on activity. You then took a deeper dive
into Microsoft Power Apps, looking at tools such
as Power App Studio, which enables you
to start building incredible apps straight
from your browser. You had the opportunity to build your very first canvas app using data from a
Microsoft Excel documents stored in OneDrive for Business. You discover that Power
Apps is comprised of a large library of
functions that can be combined to create
unique formulas very similar to the language you
use in Microsoft Excel. This powerful feature that
enables you to combine functions into formulas to
solve complex problems, means you do not need to
write complicated code like traditional developers to give your app the functionality
it requires. This is the power
of the platform. You learned the difference
between Canvas and model-driven apps and how
model-driven apps help you to quickly view your
business data to speed up decision-making instead
of creating complex apps. You explored how to model
your data and define your business processes before starting to build your app. You got hands-on experience constructing your first
model-driven app, configuring its
various components, and enabling user roles to ensure a high level of security, and you explore the
key elements of Microsoft Power Apps
and App Designer that enable you to develop an app and output a dashboard that meets your end-users needs. You were introduced to Microsoft Power Automate and
learned how you can streamline repetitive
tasks and business processes. You explored how to build
the flows available to you and the different
business needs they meet and how you can configure repeatable business process
flows that when triggered, leap into action and perform
the process for them. You learned how to leverage Microsoft Power
Automate to allow internal and external
audiences to view and interact with data from Microsoft Dataverse
or Dynamics 365. You learned about the
three types of flows, Cloud flows, business process
flows, and desktop flows. You discovered how it can
easily connect data and services across the web
and even on-premises, but also allows you to create custom connectors
and how this can be leveraged to build
simple workflow to help improve productivity
and simplify tasks. Finally, you learned
how to build an automated solution using
Microsoft Power Automate. Next, you learned all
about Power BI and how it helps business users
and developers alike to easily analyze, visualize, and
collaborate on data. You've explored Power
BI's key concepts and saw that its
foundation is made up of three main building blocks
and you leverage Power BI to easily build reports and dashboards with interactive
visualizations. You learned how to share
your dashboard with others so that you can present, gain feedback or collaborate on significant business data. You discovered how other
organizations have used this solution to drive business results with
actionable insights. Finally, you saw how Power Virtual Agents can
help you publish bots to engage with your customers on multiple platforms or channels
including live websites, mobile apps, and messaging platforms like Microsoft
Teams and Facebook. You discovered ways
organizations have used this technology to build chatbots solutions
for their business. You learned how to define
the key chatbot concepts and processes and got
hands-on experience developing your
very own chatbot. You leveraged Power
Virtual Agents to quickly and easily create
powerful bots using a guided no-code graphical
experience and saw how in just a few steps Power
Virtual Agents can build an intuitive and conversational chatbot which provided you some insight into the value and capabilities of Microsoft
Power Virtual Agents. There we are. What an
exciting journey that was. I hope you enjoyed
learning about the dynamism and capabilities of Microsoft Power Platforms
and are ready to put your knowledge and
understanding to the test. Good luck with the
practice exam.
